Your Place
in the Profession

Your career in financial markets continues to evolve long after your qualification is earned. SAIS membership supports your progression through recognised designations, continuous professional development (CPD) and access to guidance on the issues shaping the industry. It gives members a clear way to demonstrate their professional standing, keep their expertise current and progress with confidence throughout their careers.

For many financial market professionals, CPD is a requirement of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). SAIS CPD records may also be used for FSCA reporting, provided they meet the relevant criteria.

Member Benefits

Continuous Professional Development

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is your investment in maintaining professional excellence throughout your career. In a rapidly evolving financial markets environment, where regulations, technology, products and global market dynamics are constantly changing, ongoing learning is essential to remain competent, relevant and effective. Beyond meeting professional requirements, a commitment to CPD demonstrates accountability, enhances credibility with employers, clients and peers and reinforces public confidence in the profession.

SAIS recognises that valuable learning takes place through a wide range of providers and activities, allowing members the flexibility to source their own CPD that meets the SAIS requirements while conveniently recording and maintaining their CPD records through the SAIS membership system. It is through continuous learning that professionals not only advance their own careers but also contribute to raising standards across the financial markets industry.

For many financial market professionals, CPD is a requirement of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). SAIS CPD records may also be used for FSCA reporting, provided they meet the relevant criteria.
